Statistics don't lie, but statisticians certainly can. In his book, "Master Manipulator: The Explosive True Story of Fraud, Embezzlement, and Government Betrayal at the CDC," investigative journalist James Grundvig exposes what really goes on at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
In it, he reveals how the agency has engaged in massive fraud, misinformation and manipulation of vaccine information. What made Grundvig write such a book?

"A couple of reasons," he says. "One is I have an autistic son who's 16 years old now. He's one of the 5,000 cases kicked out of vaccine court [for] thimerosal poisoning.

Number two, I'm first generation Norwegian-American. Poul Thorsen, the main manipulator — but not the only one — is of Danish descent. I was introduced to an alliance [that asked me] to track down Thorsen over in Denmark, a culture and country I know very well."

Danish Scientist Charged in Vaccine Research Scam

Thorsen is a major player and an essential character in this real-life drama. In 2011, he was charged with 13 counts of wire fraud and nine counts of money laundering. A federal grand jury alleged Thorsen stole over $1 million from autism research funding between February 2004 and June 2008.
He stole the money while serving as the principal investigator for a program studying the relationship between autism and exposure to vaccines. At the time, The Copenhagen Post reported that:¹

"... [Thorsen] submitted over a dozen false invoices from the CDC for research expenses to Aarhus University … instructing them to transfer the funds to a CDC account, which was in fact his personal account ...

Thorsen's research on autism is widely known in academic circles, where he was until this week a highly respected figure. A paper of his on the subject, which is known as 'The Danish Study,' is quoted extensively to refute the autism vaccine connection."

As of 2014, Thorsen was permanently expelled from Denmark's university hospital system. Thorsen has been a fugitive for the past five years. Yet his whereabouts are no secret. As noted by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. in a 2015 Forbes article:²

"The fact that he is roaming free and is easy to find, despite the U.S. Federal indictment … suggests a lack of enthusiasm by HHS and CDC to press for his capture and extradition.

The agency undoubtedly fears that a public trial would expose the pervasive corruption throughout CDC's vaccine division and the fragility of the science supporting CDC's claims about thimerosal safety." 

The Master Manipulator

Thorsen's spectacular demise was likely the result of an inside tip to Aarhus University. But was he really the sole person responsible for the creation of these manipulated studies? According to Grundvig's investigation, the CDC appears to have had a clear hand in the deception.
In 1999, Thorsen — who had earned his Ph.D. in Denmark the year before — was invited to the CDC in Atlanta as a foreign visiting scientist. He arrived at a time when there was a lot of discussion between vaccine makers and the CDC to remove thimerosal from vaccines.
Thorsen ended up being hired full-time to conduct five studies on Danish people, as the Danes had a preexisting database covering the entire population.
In the U.S., no federal health authority was collecting this kind of comprehensive vaccination and health data. "That was the beginning of five corrupt Danish studies that were done: four on thimerosal; one on MMR," Grundvig says.

The Danish Study

Thorsen's "Danish Study,"³ which was never retracted, reported a 20-fold increase in autism in Denmark AFTER mercury-based preservatives like thimerosal were banned from vaccines. This study has since been used to support the idea that thimerosal has no bearing on autism rates.
However, it was actually an example of lying by omission, because at the same time the apparent autism increase took place, a new Danish law required autism cases to be reported on the national level. There was also a new clinic dedicated to autism treatment.
These two factors were likely the driving forces behind the sudden spike in reported autism cases, but the researchers didn't even disclose them, let alone take them into account. Despite the obvious ramifications of these omitted details, the CDC has relied on the Danish Study to "prove" their case that MMR vaccine and mercury are safe.
Moreover, the fact that Thorsen's scientific integrity was in serious question was completely lost on the CDC, which issued the following statement following his arrest warrant:⁴
"Dr. Thorsen was one of many co-authors on these research projects. All of these were subject to extensive peer review and we have no reason to suspect that there are any issues related to the integrity of the science."

CDC Dumped Agent Orange Studies to Avoid Backlash From Injured Veterans

In researching Thorsen's involvement with the CDC, Grundvig came across other instances of malfeasance. In 1984, Coleen Boyle was a principal investigator for the CDC, charged with investigating the effects of Agent Orange. Today, Boyle is the director of the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD), an arm of the CDC.
In the 1980s, the CDC was given extensive information from the army on Operation Ranch Hand about the flight patterns of Agent Orange. The information was archived in Pennsylvania, but the CDC refused to go to the archives and look at it. Doing so meant they'd have to face the truth about the contamination of U.S. troops — about half a million American veterans who suffer from cancers and other diseases caused by Agent Orange.
The CDC basically gave up on the Agent Orange studies saying they "couldn't figure it out," when in fact they could have, had they simply gone to Pennsylvania. In so doing, they forfeited $21 million in research money, which in and of itself raises questions about motives. Apparently they deemed the loss of $21 million to be preferable to what they might find by doing the research.

"The 101st Congress came out [with a report in 1990 and called it [the] "Agent Orange cover up" to basically skewer the CDC. Unfortunately, nothing happened. They didn't fire the people in charge. They didn't clean house in the CDC. Once those people at the top were able to get away with this, they felt emboldened. They also had a template for future issues like Ebola and Zika," Grundvig says.

With Boyle, the CDC demonstrated they are really masterful at covering up issues that are directly related to the public health, or issues that could have a negative impact on people's perception of a certain exposure.

The Link Between Thimerosal and Autism

To this day, most doctors will tell you the science is settled and there’s no link between vaccines and autism. In reality, the science is FAR from settled. In 2000, two secret meetings took place. The first one, in May, took place in Puerto Rico. This meeting covered aluminum adjuvants in vaccines. The second meeting took place in Simpsonwood⁵ three weeks later.

"In those meetings, they talked about how they all realized — the scientists within those meetings, from the CDC, from college institutions, from Big Pharma vaccine makers — all agreed that thimerosal is a problem, and aluminum is a problem. But they can't change overnight and lose that kind of money …

These two meetings produced results from foreign scientists, like Dr. Thomas Verstraeten out of Belgium. The CDC realized they had a major problem on their hands with the general public. They found thimerosal … is dangerous to the brain, especially of babies, infants and children."

The CDC desperately needed to prove there's no link between vaccines and autism, and Thorsen ended up being the guy hired to produce that evidence. Had the CDC not covered up the truth, we'd probably have an entirely different discussion on vaccines today.
As noted by Grundvig, some of Thorsen’s studies kept getting extended because the CDC simply wasn’t comfortable with the results; even with manipulation, they kept showing an association between the number of vaccines and the rise of autism.

“What’s amazing is Thorsen coming from Denmark. Thimerosal was banned in Denmark in 1991 — fully enacted in 1992. Vaccines today in Denmark have no thimerosal whatsoever. So, you have Thorsen agreeing to do whatever the CDC wanted to, which was manipulate the data, to lose data, to produce results that would favor [thimerosal],” Grundvig says.

Thorsen Colleague Caught Colluding With CDC to Cherry Pick Data

Thorsen worked at Aarhus University outside of Copenhagen, Denmark. At the university, he had a small research group he called the North Atlantic Neurological Epidemiology Alliance (NANEA). Part of that research group was a Ph.D. candidate named Kreesten Meldgaard Madsen.
Madsen was the principal investigator on at least two out of the five studies Thorsen did on behalf of the CDC. She came under fire when leaked emails⁶ showed she was coordinating with CDC officials "intent on fraudulently cherry picking facts to prove vaccine safety," according to a report by The Huffington Post.⁷

"They were under duress because the CDC was directly involved, with Diana Schendel going to Denmark several times to produce better results. These studies were done over and over again. In fact, there's one email from Coleen Boyle that basically went out to the Danes saying, 'What happens if we got rid of the 2001 data set completely? What happens to the line then? Does it flatten?' At the end of the day, that's exactly what they did," Grundvig says.

CDC Whistleblower Confirms Vaccine-Autism Cover-Up

In his book, Grundvig explains how, were the studies done properly using valid scientific criteria, they would have revealed some incredible insights. For starters, they would have shown that autism is in fact correlated with thimerosal exposure.
Brian Hooker is one of the researchers who has gone back to re-evaluate Thorsen's studies. In 2017, Danish scientists will again redo the studies, to hopefully settle the matter.
Thorsen was hardly the only manipulator of data at the CDC, however. Dr. William Thompson, a research scientist at the CDC's National Center for Immunizations and Respiratory Diseases (NCIR), is another. He co-authored four studies refuting a link between the MMR vaccine and autism, as well as thimerosal-containing vaccines and autism.
According to Thompson, one of the studies found that African-American boys who received the MMR vaccine before the age of 36 months had an increased risk for autism.⁸ He also maintains that other CDC studies have found a relationship between thimerosal and tics, which are associated with autism.⁹
Clearly, there's no way for the truth to get out unless we have skilled investigative journalists like Grundvig bringing us the full story. After that, it's a matter of sharing the information, because you can be sure this information will not appear in The New York Times or on your local news station. It's suppressed by design.

Thimerosal Is Still a Major Vaccine Ingredient

In the early 2000s there was a major push to remove thimerosal from vaccines, but it never took the form of law. Instead, vaccine makers were encouraged to reduce or eliminate thimerosal in their vaccines on a voluntary basis. Some did so, but according to Grundvig, even vaccines that claim to be thimerosal-free are not entirely devoid of it.

"If you read the labels, it says "thimerosal-depleted" … They remove [thimerosal] in the process. It's filtered out, but it's not filtered out 100 percent. There's still thimerosal in all of the thimerosal-containing vaccines as there were before, just a lot less. However, in the flu vaccine, it's full bore thimerosal.

It's the cheapest and fastest way to make it. I don't think that vaccine makers are interested in changing the 20th century recipe to making vaccines. It's cheap and fast. That's all they care about. They do not care about safety. They don't care about children's health. With poor children's health, they are able to take care of children, on the other end … with drugs and treatments and so forth. They continuously make money off every American citizen out there," Grundvig says.

Annual Flu Shots Are a Health Disaster in the Making

The flu vaccine is perhaps the most egregious example of this criminal activity. When I graduated from medical school, it was only recommended for health care workers, those over 55, and those with chronic diseases such as pulmonary diseases or cystic fibrosis. The target population was a relatively small percentage.
Now, it's recommended for every single individual in the United States, each and every year starting at the age of 6 months until death. It's truly beyond irrational. Not only is it ineffective, but it's perniciously toxic, thanks to the thimerosal. (For clarification, flu vaccines do not contain aluminum — a highly toxic adjuvant.)

"Even when they don't get it right — like last year, when they realized they didn't predict the strain properly [so] the flu vaccine was completely useless — they say, 'We admit it's useless. We were wrong, but take it anyway,'" Grundvig says.

And why wouldn't they? Drug companies, health officials and administering doctors are all completely insulated from lawsuits, so people suffering side effects have no impact on the bottom line. They have absolutely no incentive to urge you to weigh the risks and benefits. As long as you take the shot, they profit. And, if you're harmed, they continue to profit in other ways, since your treatment will undoubtedly involve medical care and drugs.

OTC Tapeworm Drug Kills Zika

At the end of the day, I believe it comes down to us — we all need to take the incentive to spread this information to our friends and family; make them aware of the corruption, fraud and manipulation occurring that is preventing them from understanding the truth about any given matter. Grundvig offers another example:

"The Florida State University [FSU] discovered that an off-the-shelf remedy [Nicolsamide, an FDA approved drug used to treat tapeworm] likely either suppresses or eliminates Zika. But did the press cover this? … You'd have to go to Florida State University¹⁰ and some other lesser blogs to actually find this story.

The reason for that is they do not want that to interfere with the CDC going to Congress and begging for $1.1 billion for a vaccine that no one's going to need. Ninety percent of that money will be for a vaccine for Zika …"

If you have an interest in vaccine safety and/or autism, you won't want to miss out on Grundvig's book, "Master Manipulator: The Explosive True Story of Fraud, Embezzlement, and Government Betrayal at the CDC." It clearly reveals why we cannot blindly trust our federal health agencies.
We must educate ourselves and understand the political and financial dynamics that underlie the recommendations coming from these agencies. This is not to say that there are no other factors involved in autism. Evidence suggests Roundup and other glyphosate-containing pesticides may play a role. Ditto for other toxic exposures and electromagnetic field (EMF) exposures. Having an unbalanced gut microbiome also appears to influence the outcome. There are many variables that, when combined, can result in autism. Still, that does not mean we should give vaccines a free pass.
Projections suggest that within the next 25 years, half of all children will be autistic. There is no way a culture can survive with half of the population being in the autistic spectrum. We're looking at the collapse of society if the rise in autism isn't stopped or reversed, and that means addressing ALL known factors.

Multiple confidential sources inside of a powerful jihadist group within the United States have informed the Christian Action Network and the Clarion Project that members have been told to arm themselves in anticipation of raids by the Trump Administration. Bush, Cheney and Sununu would ask, “what’s your name”, and later just before dinner time, a call from the White House came into the hotel where the children were staying to the Caretakers inviting Little Billy, Mary, Johnny, Timmy, and Pam to the White House State dinner that evening.

The caretakers thought it would be good for the children, since the White House could not accommodate the entire orphanage.

Gunderson and Pender, who ran the operation, dispatched the limo at Bush’s request, and the female would take the children to the limo and immediately give them a Coke or Pepsi with the VOODOO DRUG in it, and they were off to U.S. Senator Barney Frank’s pad, known as a “Brownstone”.

Of course, the U.S. Senators and U.S. Reps were there with the good-looking female prostitutes who would help get the congressmen and senators drunk on the “VOODOO DRUG”, so when Daddy Bush, Dick Cheney, John Sununu and others showed up at the party and the children in the limo arrived, the female prostitutes left and the child sex party started, with U.S. Vice President George HW Bush, Richard Cheney, John Sununu and others showing the VOODOO drunk congressman and senators how to have sex raping children, while the cameras were running.

Someone pretending to be from the White House would call the caretakers back at the hotel and would tell them the children fell asleep and are staying the night here at the White House and will be returned before lunch tomorrow.

The caretakers did not suspect a thing until 6 months later when their children were sitting in front of the TV watching the News and waiting for dinner, when many would jump up and point to the TV and say “He put his thing in me”, as the children pointed to either their rectum or the female side. These caretakers began to ask questions and did not know whom to call.

Some called “People Magazine”, which spent a million dollars investigating all of America’s orphanages and found this was true, with those children selected out at the White House being greeted by these known pedophiles: Bush, Cheney and Sununu.

The story was never told by “People Magazine”. The Journalist I talked to on many occasions in the late 1980s and early 1990s was never allowed to publish the story.

The Vatican Has Paid Close to $4 Billion to Settle Child Molestation Lawsuits

The reality of child molestation by the Roman Catholic Church has surfaced time and time again, and yet, somehow, it continues to happen. If you watched the movie Spotlight, perhaps you have an idea of just how things are going down. But let’s break it down to date.



While you can’t put a price on the innocence of a child, you can put a price on just how much the Roman Catholic Church has paid out in lawsuits over the never-ending epidemic of child molestation wreaking havoc in its ranks.

According to Jack and Diane Ruhl of the National Catholic Reporter, who decided to research this particular topic, since 1950, the Vatican has spent a disgusting $3,994,797,060.10. That’s nearly $4 billion to keep things hush hush. That number may even be a bit conservative, as we cannot know for sure the agreed upon “under the table” amount.

The figure is based on a three-month investigation of data, which includes a review of over 7,800 articles from LexisNexis Academic and NCR databases and information from BishopAccountability.org. Reports from the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops were also used.

If the amount of money dished out was divided evenly amongst the U.S.’s 197 dioceses, each one would get almost $20 million. An incredible amount of cash from hard working people who support the good faith and intentions of the Church — people who are parents to little boys being sexually abused — is being used to cover up unfathomable crimes executed by priests.

In the early nineties, a monk who worked at the Vatican opened up to The New Yorker, admitting: “You wouldn’t believe the amounts of money the church is spending to settle these priestly sexual-abuse cases.” By 1992, U.S. Catholic dioceses had given 400 million dollars to settle hundreds of molestation cases. That was a shocking chunk of change then, and that figure has only risen exponentially since. The men running the Vatican are well aware of the problem, and yet they refuse to provide justice.

When Pope Francis addressed hundreds of bishops on the issue, he said:

I realize how much the pain of recent years has weighed upon you, and I have supported your generous commitment to bring healing to victims — in the knowledge that in healing we too are healed — and to work to ensure that such crimes will never be repeated.

His words of “generous commitment” only further show just how tightly knit the Church truly is — worried more about reputation than morality.

David Clohessy, executive director of the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, was once optimistic that Francis would push for change in how the Church handled the scandal, but has since lost hope. “There’s nothing he could say that would be helpful, because Catholic bishops have said it all before — ‘I’m sorry, we didn’t know, we’ll do better.’ We’ve heard that for decades,” he said. “This is a pope who has refused to take steps to expose one predator or punish one enabler. . . . He could simply defrock, demote, discipline, or even clearly denounce just one complicit bishop. He refuses, not one.”

Spanning many hundreds of years, children have suffered at the hands of child predators who remain safe in the authority and integrity of an honorable faith, yet organizations, investigators, reporters, etc. continue to raise awareness, while the Catholic Church continues their fight to block bills that would extend the statute of limitations for reporting sex abuse.

BREAKING: WHAT SARAH PALIN AND TRUMP DID TODAY HAS LIBERALS HEADS EXPLOD...

OPEC Out! This week’s meeting was really a bust!

In May, I wrote an article titled “The OPEC Epoch is Over,” which pronounced OPEC officially dead and predicted oil prices would plunge again. So far, I’ve been wrong about a second perilous plunge in oil prices. However, even as market heavyweights herald this week’s OPEC meeting for pumping up oil prices, a few voices join this lightweight in saying this meeting proves OPEC is over.
The Financial Times says, “Oil Output-Cut Pact Spells ‘the Beginning of the End’ for OPEC.”

The recent OPEC oil output-cut deal “will come to symbolize the passing of one of the world’s most powerful cartels,” the Financial Times predicts…. “After 50 years in control of the oil price, OPEC has submitted to the economic power of a much-changed global market. The deal represents the recognition of their own impotence by a group of countries that once held unchallenged power,” writes Nick Butler, a visiting professor and chair of the Kings Policy Institute, London. (Newsmax)

In other words, OPEC has given up on the Saudi brainstorm of flushing the US out of the oil export market. Contrary to the Saudis’ expectations, the US oil industry did not fold, though it buckled a bit. Saudi Arabia was forced to fold first.
The US industry trimmed a lot around the edges, with several companies failing while others became more economical and survived. Necessity once again became the mother of invention. Fracking operations slowed but kept going. Production has been capped in ways that can come quickly back on line if prices start to rise, but that will be an equilibrium force that pushes back down on prices as soon as they start to look profitable.
The same article points out that OPEC’s tightening of production (particularly Saudi and Russian production) is not going to drive the price of oil back up because the oil glut continues to grow and will stay on that path even at the newly agreed production levels:

“This is not a deal capable of lifting prices to the level of $60 or $70 a barrel that is supposed to be OPEC’s target,” Butler wrote for the FT…. “There is a surge of production coming in the next 12 months from new fields in countries outside Opec, such as Brazil, Canada and Kazakhstan. It is perfectly possible that total global production — from Opec and non-Opec states combined — will be higher next year than in 2016.”

Gasoline oversupply is at its worst all year. (See “Ahead Of OPEC’s Meeting, API Inventory Report Shows Major Crude Build At Cushing.”) Apparently that news is earthshaking because Cushing, Oklahoma, just had one of its largest oil-related earthquakes. (The USGS has determined that the huge increase in the number of earthquakes in Oklahoma is definitely caused by fracking.) Of course, if these earthquakes around Oklahoma’s oil hub get any worse, they have the potential of cutting off a lot of US oil supply by damaging oil infrastructure and creating a lot more public opposition to fracking.
Cost-saving technologies invented out of the need to survive the Saudi crush on oil prices will also now spread around the world to increase cheaper production everywhere. At the same time, the OPEC cuts won’t amount to much because one of the main producers — Russia — saw a huge increase in production in November and is using its November production as the baseline for its cuts. That means its cuts will really only hold it close to the level it was at earlier in the year when prices crashed. Another large producer Iran, which had been holding out on a deal, finally won against Saudi Arabia, as the new deal does not require Iran to make any production cuts.
The following chart reveals why the agreement that was finally reached after a year of talk no longer means anything at all:



As you can see, despite the talk all year of cutting production, OPEC actually increased production throughout the last half of 2016 to where the present agreed cuts to 32.5 million barrels a day will only put OPEC nations back to where they were earlier in the year when oil prices were crashing.
While OPEC’s production increased throughout all the talk about talks with all of the corresponding failed meetings, US production decreased. However, the US oil rig count has now climbed to a ten-month high, which means pressure is building for future production. With Trump planning to do everything he can to aid US production, I think it is a near certainty that US production wills start to rise, pushing down on prices again.

On the positive side, the fact that technology has brought down production costs, means the US companies that have weathered through won’t be as hurt by lower prices, and that means their banks will not be as hurt by lower prices. U.S. banks have also stockpiled $6 billion in cash during the time in which prices were back up to the high forties and low fifties, set aside to cover future energy losses. By the time the next drop in prices occurs, it may not be as damaging as the previous plunge.
So, there you have it. The oil market got the big news it was hoping for all year; but, for so much pent-up hope, it didn’t bring the gusher of price increases that producers hoped for. As initial relief wears off, investors will see there’s not much good news in the pipeline for those needing higher prices: The OPEC cut was minute to the point of being silly; the flow of oil from elsewhere is likely to increase, and gasoline is oversupplied as we go into winter when less is needed. So, gas prices are likely to fall (maybe even plunge), meaning profits for both oil producers and refiners (often one and the same) are likely to be lean to nonexistent awhile longer.

OPEC oil deal reveals weakness in stock market post-election rally

For some it was surprising that this long-hoped-for deal did nothing for the US stock market. One analyst sees that as an ominous sign of weakness in the market’s post-election rally:

The OPEC deal news on Wednesday should have been more than enough to unleash a flood of buying, according to Ziedins. “If the market was a coiled spring ready to explode higher, this would have triggered that move,” he wrote. “Instead we hit our head on the ceiling and fell into a tailspin…. There are few things more ominous than a market that cannot rally on good news because it tells us we are running out of new buyers.” (MarketWatch)

The stock market probably didn’t rally much because 1) it’s a euphoric boost and is mostly realigning to fit Trump’s proposed changes and 2) the oil news that was long-awaited was anticlimactic at best.

The very fact that we’re learning about Pizzagate indicates they’re being exposed. Given the nature and extent of this curse, it will be a slow process. Central is the fact that taking these people down is synonymous with destroying the entire corrupt Western political, corporate and financial power structure. But it will succeed.

It began to unravel for these sick networks, starting in Norway, where it’s hinted that the network is global and involves people in high places.

Understatement of the decade. Another major ring was busted in Canada around the same time.

Years ago when I first got online I started reading about it. I mentioned my findings to a friend–a local cop. He told me that in police academy a guest came to speak about pedophilia. The man told the trainees to be very careful and meticulous when prosecuting these cases, because the presiding judge might be another pedophile himself.

Former PA Attorney General Kathleen Kane just began a 23-month sentence on bizarre charges. Kane had poked her nose into Penn State’s Sandusky pedophile case.

They protect their own, you see.

I know why JonBenet Ramsey was killed. And no, it was nobody in her family.
I know why Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia died, with a pillow over his head, and no subsequent autopsy was performed.

I merely collect data. The information is out there, for anybody who has the stomach for it. Run a search for “The Franklin Coverup,” a documentary the Discovery Channel chose, at the last minute, not to air. It’s on the WWW, if you know where to look.

More often than not, the FBI, the courts, are useless. Because when you join the Club, and participate, you’re videotaped. They have something on you. And that’s your ticket to the House, the Senate, the Governor’s Mansion, the White House, an Anchor slot on the Nightly News, and, of course, the Federal Bench. You rarely rise to these heights unless they have something on you.

How do we live with all this? That’s a problem. Some pedophilia is hereditary, in the genes, and so, many of us express outrage a tad too stridently.

We as a society are going to have to come to terms with all of this. And that will require a hard honest look at ourselves. Much as we might wish, we dare not turn our backs on it.

The toughest part for me is knowing that 300,000 American children disappear every year and are never found.again. It is one thing to know this in one’s mind; it is a whole other thing to contemplate all that pure innocence taken from those unable to defendthemselves.

A woman accused of killing her husband in an attempted murder-suicide - with their pet parrot as the only witness - appeared in court for the first time.

Glenna Duram, 46, is charged with first-degree murder for allegedly shooting her husband, Martin, 45, on May 12, 2015 and then turning the gun on herself in their Newaygo County's Ensley Township home in Michigan. She survived.

The alleged murder-suicide has drawn attention for its unusual witness - the couple's pet parrot. Weeks after his death, Martin Duram's family recorded the bird 'parroting' what they believe to be the victim's last words: 'Don't f***ing shoot!'

The prosecutor says he hasn't ruled out putting the African grey parrot, Bud, on the stand, according to NBC News.

At the preliminary hearing on Friday to decide if the case goes to trial, a neighbor, Connie Ream, testified how she was the first one to find the couple.

She said she heard two gunshots in the morning, and thought that Martin might be hunting, but that it was too early.

The next day, she went to check on her neighbors and found them on the floor in the bedroom, with neither one moving. Martin had been shot five times, according to Wood-TV.

Durham recovered from her alleged suicide attempt and said she doesn't remember the incident but knows she would not kill her husband

Glenna would spend months in the hospital recovering from a gunshot wound to the head.

Another witness said that the place looked 'ransacked.'

'Everything was just scattered all over the place. There was a lamp on the floor, everything was just like ransacked in there,' said the unidentified witness.

Martin's mother, Lillian Duram, insists the parrot, Bud, recounts what sounds like an argument - changing voices from male to female.

'That bird picks up everything and anything, and it’s got the filthiest mouth around,' she said. 

'I personally think he was there and he remembers it and he was saying it,' said Martin's father, Charles, according to Wood-TV.

After the shooting, Glenna told police she did not remember the day leading up to what happened, but stressed that she did not kill her husband.

However, police documents show that Glenna was considered a suspect in the case, and that she had left three suicide notes in the house - one to her ex-husband and one to each of her children.

One of the notes read: 'i'm sorry but i love you and soo sorry i've been a disappointment to you these last 12 yrs or so Please forgive me your one of the best things I ever did — Love mom.'

Glenna also denied to investigators that she had written the suicide notes, but a handwriting analysis showed she did, said police.

The police records further detailed the couple's financial problems, gambling issues and a potentially troubled marriage.

One document from 2010 showed Glenna gambled nearly $75,000 on slots, more than twice what Marty gambled that same year.

Scene: Martin Duram, 45, was shot and killed in his home in Sand Lake in May 2015 in what police initially believed was a double-homicide. They later realized his wife was actually alive but in a critical condition 

Family said the couple had been married more than 10 years and had been living in their Sand Lake home for more than 15 years.

The two always kept their doors locked, and none of the family had keys to the home, according to documents.

They said that Martin found out about a month before his death that their home was going into foreclosure due to outstanding debts. He was killed with a gun he kept in the house.
