"Another Martin Luther King" ???

Hardly...

Thankfully, Martin Luther King was possessed of the intelligence and restraint to NEVER have stooped so low
as to use a demeaning racial epithet to refer to ANY other human being - much less a human being of his own ethnicity.

The truth is, this was a rather sad and unnecessary display on that account.

Anonymous 1:00 PM - DO YOUR RESEARCH ON MLK!!! You will no doubt learn some interesting things that may put a 'lighter shade' on the man. But that is not the purpose for this comment. There are comments favorable to Dr. Manning here from 'whiteys' - 'honkeys' - among the many names that you darkies call us. I have the utmost respect and admiration for Manning. He is doing all he can to try to inform his people who have been so brain washed, their thinking so 'colored,' that they were not able to see the forest for the trees. Us 'whitey's don't find Anything negative or contrary about his people. To the contrary, he is a spiritual father and mentor to them that has done more to clear their brainwashed thinking that anyone I can think of in the history of our nation. This man has the admiration and respect of all the races in this nation, even us 'whiteys'. If he was anywhere near my home, I would be attending his church and doing all I could under his leadership to help in the community. Just because Manning doesn't think like Wright, Sharpton, Jackson and the rest of the pinko commie black leaders, doesn't make him wrong or bad. To the contrary. BTW - sometimes using what you call a 'demeaning racial epithet'. can get the attention of the very ones who need to hear it to wake them up. Don't be so quick to demean this man. He is doing POSITIVE things to help his people and ALL people, using a different strategy - he is a different person - not all have the same personalities or the same way of looking at things and of expressing thoughts. Cut Manning some slack! Research him! Listen to his broadcasts! You ust might learn some things! You just might change your viewpoints!!! This is not about 'race'. This is about free thinking and freedom of expression, and our rights to agree to disagree.

Did MLK ever speak out against black abortions? Babies out of wedlock? Do Wright, Sharpton, Jackson, et al EVER speak out against black abortions and out of wedlock babies? Manning does. He makes the points about how these situations are destroying black 'families' and society worldwide, especially in America. He speaks of morality, honor, responsibility - especially parental responsibility - etc. I have NEVER seen or heard these issues spoken to by Wright, Sharpton, Jackson, et all. Not even MLK. So I guess one's perspective is all about what the reader holds as being acceptable vs what someone else deems to be acceptable.

None of the above is in dispute...with the exception that i personally do not disrespectfully refer to (nor think of) another human in any way other than one who is made in the express image of the Creator of the Universe(s)

What is taken issue with was the thoughtless Public use of the 'n' word used by one Af Am male against another... that is
what is not in any way acceptable; this is what was meant by "...on that account".
